Medical Malpractice

medical malpracticeMedical malpractice is doctors, nurses or hospital staff committing errors the consequences of which our clients are made to suffer. Types of medical malpractice include birth trauma, surgical mishaps, wrong medications, staff dropping patients, wrong surgical site, improper infection control, mis-diagnosis and delayed diagnosis, to name a few. Recently, a cardiologist was placing stents into patients who did not need them subjecting the patients to a life-time of un-needed medications. Other examples of malpractice include pharmacists giving the wrong medications or the right medications in the wrong dosages; nursing homes causing ulcers; or dentists pulling the wrong tooth.
