Retired Attorney
Steven was an integral part of the legal team at WGK Personal Injury Lawyers, for more than 30 years. As an associate attorney, he helped thousands of the law firm’s clients successfully resolve legal issues in the area of personal injury, criminal defense, family law, and wills and estates. He retired on October 1, 2021, after a long and rewarding legal career spanning more than four and a half decades.
He began his law career in the State’s Attorney’s Office for Baltimore City where he gained extensive trial experience. He has put those skills to good use for the benefit of his clients. In the last several years, he concentrated on assisting clients get through personal bankruptcy. He found this to be a very rewarding endeavor.
People do not realize that the right to file bankruptcy relief is contained in the U.S. Constitution. The vast majority of his clients are hard working individuals or couples who have run into financial problems due to illness, loss of employment or other factors beyond their control. The last thing they wanted was to end up in bankruptcy.
Steve is a life-long resident of Baltimore. He attended Tulane University in New Orleans. He returned to Baltimore for law school and graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1973. He lives with his wife in Baltimore City. They have two grown children and two grandchildren. Steven has been, and always will be, an important part of the WGK Personal Injury Lawyers, family.
