Abogado William Kolodner

William Kolodner received his Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1961. While in law school, he was selected Associate Editor of the Maryland Law Review, inducted into the Order of the Coif Honorary Society, and awarded the Lawyer Title Award in Property and the American Jurisprudence Award in Civil Procedure. After graduating second in his class, Mr. Kolodner worked for his brother, Fred Kolodner, as an associate attorney. In 1977, after more than a decade of litigation experience, he founded what is now WGK Personal Injury Lawyers.

Since 1961, Mr. Kolodner advocated for injured victims until his retirement. Throughout his distinguished career, he believed every client deserved personalized, zealous, and compassionate legal representation. Mr. Kolodner ingrained this philosophy of client-focused advocacy throughout the firm, assembling a team of highly qualified personal injury attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to assist clients in car accident, medical malpractice, and workers’ compensation cases. To further his commitment to protecting victims, Mr. Kolodner served as Chairman of the Citizens’ Rights Committee, opposing No-Fault Insurance legislation in Maryland.

WGK Personal Injury Lawyers is proud to have three generations of attorneys serving Baltimore and the state of Maryland. As the founding attorney (retired) of WGK Personal Injury Lawyers, Mr. Kolodner ensured that all clients received the same level of attention and diligence he would devote to a member of his own family. He has happily passed the torch to his daughter, Attorney Jill Kolodner, who serves as the Managing Attorney of the firm. He is also very proud of his grandson, Attorney Hunter Duke, for following in the family’s footsteps.
