William Kolodner received his Juris Doctor at the University of Maryland School of Law in 1961. While in law school, he was selected Associate Editor of the Maryland Law Review; inducted into the Order of the Coif Honorary Society, and conferred the Lawyer Title Award in Property and the American Jurisprudence Award in Civil Procedure. After graduating second in his class from law school, Mr. Kolodner worked for his brother, Fred Kolodner, as an associate attorney. In 1977, after more than a decade of litigation experience, he started his own firm known today as WGK Personal Injury Lawyers.
Since 1961, Mr. Kolodner has advocated for injured victims. He believes every client deserves personalized, zealous, and compassionate representation. Mr. Kolodner has ingrained this philosophy of client service and excellence throughout the firm. He has assembled highly qualified and experienced attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to assist clients in automobile accidents, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, and personal bankruptcy matters. To further his commitment and responsibility to injured victims, Mr. Kolodner served as Chairman of the Citizens’ Rights Committee to protect citizens against the passage of No Fault Insurance legislation.
WGK Personal Injury Lawyers has three generations of attorneys on your side. As founding member of WGK Personal Injury Lawyers, Mr. Kolodner insists that all clients receive the attention and diligence that would be devoted to a member of his family. He is especially proud of the accomplishments of his daughter, Attorney Jill Kolodner, who serves as the Managing Attorney of the firm, and his grandson, Attorney Hunter Duke.
